Sensei started from humble beginnings. Our Australian operations began in Adelaide, South Australia, in 2009, under the name “IPMO”. From there, we were able to expand the business and open offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. In 2016 we joined forces with Sensei Project Solutions, a like-minded organisation from North America, to create a global team of experts, delivering remarkable solutions to customers all around the world.
We are a company of passionate experts in Australia that have successfully delivered Microsoft based solutions for over 7 years to many organisations across many industries. Sensei has one of the most experienced and well-respected teams in the region covering the full suite of Microsoft based PPM and Productivity business technologies.
The success of our PPM and Productivity team lies in understanding that a successful project requires varied perspectives throughout an engagement. We believe that to deliver true value to a customer, we really need to understand what you are trying to achieve, and emotionally invest in the outcome. This means that we will ask a lot of questions up-front; to understand your business, your industry, and to really understand what you are hoping to gain by engaging us. Then we will bring to you a combination of different skills: business consulting, project management, creative design, solution architecture, app development, product know-how and recommendations, training, and support. Sensei believes that to drive the successful implementation and adoption of technology, all these skills must work in unison, in an environment that allows both your team and ours to feel like we have a shared vision and purpose.
We are a Microsoft Gold Partner in a number of competencies and our team collaborates very closely with the local and Redmond-based product teams at Microsoft. In addition, Sensei has Australia’s first Microsoft’s Project Server Most Valuable Professional (MVP), and in September 2015, Microsoft acquired the rights to the app catalog for portfolio reporting, dashboards and time tracking, all developed by Sensei. The apps acquired by Microsoft include the Sensei Task Master™ app with versions for the iPhone, Android and Windows Phone platforms; the Sensei Project Dashboard™ app for iPad; and the Sensei Portfolio Dashboard app for iPad and add-in for Project Online.
