Hydro Tasmania and Sensei Project Solutions are delighted to be named as a winner in the Transformation Project category of these prestigious awards from the Australian Institute of Project Management, recognising excellence in program and project leadership.

Hydro Tasmania is Australia’s largest generator of clean, renewable energy and champions for a sustainable future. The company employs over 1300 people, produces around 9,000 gigawatt hours of clean electricity from hydropower annually and can have up to 300 projects running at any given time across their major assets. Hydro Tasmania was keen to uplift overall project management capability and create a connected, consistent approach to managing projects across the organisation.

Sensei worked with Hydro Tasmania to implement its preconfigured Project and Portfolio Management solution together with a standardised approach to manage their multimillion-dollar major capital works portfolio. Outcomes from the solution implementation include consistent and clear processes for project managers, improved scheduling and resource allocation, integration with SAP financials, and accurate, actionable information on all current and past projects to improve forecasting and support consolidated executive reporting.

Project teams in any location across Tasmania now have access to up-to-date information and a powerful tool which helps them to move their initiatives to a successful conclusion.

“At Sensei we partner with clients to improve the way they work and help them reach their strategic goals with our best practices project management solution built on the Microsoft platform,” said Andy Neumann, CEO of Sensei Project Solutions. “We are delighted to be recognised with Hydro Tasmania as a winner by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and see this as a valued reflection of the continuous innovation we strive to bring to our clients and our industry.”
