What is Power BI?

Power BI is a suite of business analytics tools to analyse data and share insights. Bring together information from across your business and get answers quickly with rich dashboards available on every device.

Insight is a journey

What can we do?

Your whole business on one dashboard

With Power BI on the web and the right insights provided by Sensei, you can monitor important data from across your organisation in one spot.

Create stunning interactive reports

Power BI Desktop gives you tools to transform, analyse, and visualise data. Share reports in seconds with your organisation using Power BI on the web.

Consistent analysis across your organisation

With SQL Server as a foundation we can easily build robust, reusable models over your data to provide consistency across reporting and analysis in your organisation.

Features

Live dashboards

Personalised and/or standardised dashboards can be built to monitor your most important data at a glance. A Sensei Power BI dashboard is able to combine on-premises and cloud-born data in a single pane of glass, providing a consolidated view across the organisation regardless of where the data lives. Each metric, or insight, is displayed on the dashboard as a tile.

Custom visualisations

Data visualisations (aka visuals) allow you to interact with your data to find business insights. Create and modify visualisations in your reports, and pin them to your dashboards.

Integration with productivity tools

You can connect to datasets from Excel, Power BI Desktop, databases, SaaS applications and content packs for a number of services you used to run your business, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and Google Analytics. Alternatively, connect to Sensei’s Integration Hub for more options. Power BI starts by using your credentials to connect to the service, and then creates a Power BI dashboard and a set of Power BI reports that automatically show your data and provide visual insights about your business.

Powerful data modelling

Often, you’ll connect to more than one data source to create your reports, and you’ll need all of that data to work together. We help you with the appropriate data modelling to get you there.

Modern enterprise reporting

Reports can be created from scratch within Power BI, can be imported with dashboards that colleagues share with you, or can be created for you when you connect to datasets. Reports can be accessed from a variety of devices, anytime, anywhere.
