Role Overview:

The purpose of this position is to support the Sensei sales and marketing team with a range of different activities and initiatives. Based out of Sydney, but working with team members across the country, you will liaise with internal stakeholders on new opportunities from existing clients, support our Client Executives on the preparation of proposals and client presentations, follow-up clients for a variety of purposes, liaise with our marketing team to actively promote the Sensei brand and create / update sales collateral, and take charge of your career in sales and marketing to become a thriving member of our business. This role is best-suited to someone towards the start of their career (perhaps with a small amount of experience, and/or a tertiary qualification behind you), but someone who is keen to grow, learn and develop your skills in the IT sales world.

What your day may include:

  • Support the sales team in the preparation of proposals and client and partner presentations.
  • Update Microsoft of deals and their status and create business relationships with the Microsoft team.
  • Follow-up our clients on opportunities, marketing purposes or for additional feedback on their accounts.
  • Liaise with internal team on new opportunities from existing clients and ensure follow up from sales team.
  • Support the sales team in co-ordinating sales events.
  • Assist in winning new business in NSW.
  • Maintain proposal templates / sales collateral and liaise with Marketing to ensure it stays accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute content as required.
  • Actively promote the Sensei brand and its services.
  • Liaise with Marketing team to support content creation and input into collateral requirements.
  • Follow new developments in Microsoft and Sensei related software products to build knowledge.
  • Actively participate as a team member functionally and cross functionally.
  • Complete other tasks as directed.

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field.
  • 1-2 years corporate experience.
  • Passion for learning and excited by technology.

Highly Desirable - Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Thorough and tenacious, follows-up when/where required.
  • Is keen to get into the Microsoft world.
  • Can work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Shows initiative and drive.
  • Has aspirations to take on an Account Management, Client Executive, or Business Development role.
  • Table-tennis skills (even bad ones, as long as you’ll give it a go!).
