Role overview:

The Brand & Digital Marketing Manager role is pivotal in driving Sensei’s digital client acquisition and retention programs and ensuring our digital platforms, including the Sensei website, are optimised and humming. This role also oversees the correct application of the Sensei brand across all channels to market and drives our SEO and SEM activities.

This is a hands-on management role where you will develop and refine our brand and digital go-to-market programs and manage the channels, platforms, and activities that deliver them. You’ll provide guidance and support to the other members of the Marketing team and be encouraged to seek out ideas and suggestions for improvement across our programs and platforms.

If you’ve been working across digital marketing channels for a while, have a good handle on marketing automation and campaigns content and platforms, social media channels and aren’t scared by websites, this could be the step-up job for you. We’ll be relying on you to keep our channels to market running smoothly to make sure we provide the best possible experience to prospects and clients. You’ll also love seeing our brand presented strongly and consistently in the market (and you have a love for all things purple).

As part of a small and dedicated marketing team you’ll love a good laugh, be willing to step in, guide and support other team members when needed and join us on a path of constant learning and improvement. What your day may include:

  • Plan and execute digital marketing activities, including SEO/SEM, prospect database management, email, and Google AdWords’ campaigns
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams to update corporate web pages and optimise user experience.
  • Evaluate emerging mar tech. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Review corporate collateral and ensure it aligns with branding guidelines
  • Use the Adobe CC Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign to update graphical assets or design graphical concepts. 
  • Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements.
  • Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team.
  • Work with the Marketing Director to define KPIs, create reporting, analyse campaign performance. Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously.
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in ActiveCampaign such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.

Sound interesting? Here are the key skills you’ll need to qualify:

  • Experienced using a range of digital platforms from campaign tools to social media and comfortable working your way around a website (WordPress)
  • Understand the mechanics of SEO and SEM and guiding optimisation activities
  • Exposure to developing marketing automation journeys and using a campaign tool
  • Experience managing brand guidance and assets
  • Time spent working with IT/software or B2B businesses would be ideal
  • Knowledge of Adobe CC Suite – in particular, InDesign would be useful but is not essential
  • Self-starter with ability to engage comfortably with stakeholders across a range of roles from technical and support to sales to leadership, and prioritise work delivered to focus on achieving agreed business goals/deadlines.
  • Happy to jump in and assist the Sales and Marketing teams in times of high demand or team member leave.
